SO, life has been going better now that I'm home. K12 is pretty good so far. And, I've found a new addiction: Polyvore. It's a website where you can make different outfit sets for other people to see (mine are mostly Disney themed). My Polyvore name is waitingforthelights so check it out! I came upon Polyvore when I was looking for outfits because K12 is holding a Masquerade Ball in March. I am SO excited because originally, my sweet 16 plan was to have a Masquerade Ball myself. But the whole friend situation fell through and we decided it would be really expensive anyway. And I've always wanted to go to a ball, let alone a Masquerade Ball! I'm wearing a gold sequin dress and a black and gold mask with music notes on it because I LOVE MUSIC!

Not Exactly According to Plan... UPDATE

As it turns out, I'm not going to the public school. K12 finally called back and they said I'm in. So after a few hours of confusion, I'm completely exhausted. My parents made the decision. After all, Mother Knows Best... (and if she doesn't, Flynn Rider will come) My young women's leader called me today and asked me if I could sing tomorrow for our New Beginnings program because her daughter, who is a Mia Maid like me, is sick and can't go. I said yes. because it's good to practice short notice for when I'm on Broadway. Experience and all that... So back to the school thing, I will also be starting release time seminary so I can go in the middle of the day. No more waking up early! And I'll have a good teacher. So now I'll be sitting at home wondering When Will My Life Begin?... ; )

Not Exactly According to Plan...

Well... As I have said, I'm finally out of Basis forever, but there was a bit of a problem with the K12 Virtual School. We handed in all of the paperwork on time, but they failed to mention that they needed my transcripts at the same time. So I woke up this morning all ready to start, but it said that I wasn't fully registered because of the transcript issue and the deadline was Friday... Needless to say, I'm not attending the virtual school this year. So, I can't go back to Basis because I was fully released (it sounds like I was in prison) I'm now going to the public school here. And I am TERRIFIED! As soon as we drove up there were like 4 police cars posted there and it's such a big school. I'm scared I will get lost or something. And there's probably lots of drug issues there (they don't have lockers because of it). But other people like me have gone there and survived. At least I'll get some real friends... On another note, I/my mom changed my mind about being Charlotte La Bouff for halloween. Instead, I'm going as Rapunzel (didn't see that coming, did you?) with the braided hair look of course, I even found a wig that is 60" and I definitely have to braid it because I'm only 5'2. So, that's my life so far. Feel free to comment.

FINALLY! I am done with Basis!!!!!!!!!!!! Things are definitely looking more up-ier than before. I'm enrolled in K12 online school and hopefully I'll start on Monday. We're not sure because there were some issues with paperwork, so as of right now I'm a highschool drop out ; ). We're planning my Sweet 16 now. I'm going to Disneyland with a few close friends/cousins to celebrate. And, since my birthday is in October, we're going to go to the Halloween party and we can dress up! I'm going as Charlotte La Bouff from The Princess and the Frog. I am soooooo excited! We went to the Halloween party before and it was so much fun! I have to pay for admission for my friends (we're Disney Vacation Club Members so we're covered) and my costume but it will be so worth it! And, I'll get to meet Flynn Rider (haha). I'm still trying to decide what friends (besides my cousins) to take with me. It's kinda good and bad with the homeschool thing. I'm getting a fresh start with CYT and other programs I can do but it's so intimidating... I have more to say but I have to stop because my sister is complaining about my typing.
