Finally! My first post!!!!!!!
Well, I've had this blog up for like 5days but i'm a perfectionist so I had to make sure the layout was perfect and such. So welcome to my blog...
Anyway, this weekend has been good so far. Last night I saw Tangled for the second time (I saw it last week with my mom but my sisters wanted to see it too). One of my All Time favorites. @ the bottom of the page I have my playlist and there are some songs from Tangled on it. I <3 Flynn Rider!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's like the hottest cartoon character ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad he's taken :..( and a cartoon :..( I can not wait until Tangled comes out on DVD. It's unfortunate that I have seen (since it's still going on) it at the beginning of it's run in the theaters. I guess I'll just have to keep going again and again until it comes out (excuse to go again #1: My dad hasn't seen it yet!!!!!). I already have the soundtrack from Itunes and have listened to it 3 times through.
So life is good. Last Friday our 50" plasma tv of 5 years burnt out just after the warranty expired in January. Ugh and we've had to use a small tv in a big room for a week. I guess it's better than no tv. And we have an excuse to buy a new one. I don't really watch that much tv anyway. See, I go to this charter school (its like a private school with no tuition) that just opened this year and I have HOURS of homework every night because we want to beat the European schools (yeah, thanks Obama*). I really don't like school now (not that I ever did) I'm in highschool and I should be having the time of my life right? WRONG according to our principal who when my friend honestly and respectfully said she would rather be at the public school because most of her friends go there said "School is more important than friends!" and got all defensive like that. I can't imagine what her childhood was like. This school is hardcore with the books and most of the people that go there 5-10th grade so far (it will be 5-12 in a couple years) are spoiled and socially awkward. There are these twins in 7th grade that could be the poster boys for nerds. They slick their hair back every day and wear button down shirts and dress pants up to their armpits every day with their black standard rolling backpacks. Who lets their kids leave the house like that? I take improv as an extra curricular and there is this one girl who didn't know what American Idol or the Prom was!!!!! Has she been living under a rock?!?!?!?!? All of the parents of these kids seem normal but I think they've brainwashed their children. As for the spoiled, there is this guy in my class that has complained that his signed Paul McCartney guitar was stolen. And he brings his laptop in to take notes on instead of paper like the rest of us...
I feel like I live in a sitcom
*I do not hate Obama, I was just being facetious. He's going to be our president for the next couple of years and we're just going to have to deal with it.
