1/11/11 My week is going better this time. My teachers are being a bit more chill because the 7th grade is doing pre-comps (whatever that is) and they seem to think that if we're stressed we'll take it out on them. But less work for me!
So I got distracted like 5 minutes ago and I was researching if Tangled will become a Broadway Musical (so far nothing.) and I was disturbed reading comments from Disney-Haters (you hate Disney, I hate you) including one journalist for Vanity Fair, he's on the top of my hit list (just kidding). People who hate Disney have no soul. Either that or they can't take how joyful it is; in that case, they are just pure evil. Anyway, (I've been saying that a lot recently) he said that the musical numbers in Tangled and any Disney movie really, were excruciating to sit through! And that adults shouldn't go see it unless they have young children. I can somewhat understand both points (but not enough to validate them) I had to see it twice to really like the music, and there are so many adults in this world that have grown up too much to enjoy life but COME ON don't rip apart DISNEY! It's probably because there weren't really any "adult jokes" in it. And when I say "adult jokes", I mean vulgar, disgusting, laced with expletives and sex-related content. Seriously America, GET SOME CLASS! I saw Gulliver's Travels which was really cute besides the 3 distasteful jokes which go over the kids' heads but still... One joke in particular really bothered me. I hate it that PG rated movies can use "minor" bad words in their scripts. Do little kids need to hear that? I guess it's really on the parents though.
1/12/11 I'm sitting inYearbook right now. I hate this class. I can't even believe I get graded for sitting around and occasionally taking pictures. Oh yeah, and editing pages for a Yearbook I'm not buying. I refuse to support this school in any form. The ironic thing is that I joined this class for 2 reasons 1). Friends 2). It was my only choice. Both reasons are completely irrelevant now: 2 of my friends switched schools and the other remaining "friend" ditched me. The other one is kinda relevant but oh well.
So I'm sitting alone. ALONE alone AloNe Alone alONE. :...( Not so happy anymore. I'm also hungry. I didn't pack an adequate lunch. Thankfully Improv was canceled today so I can go home. This too shall pass...
Wow. It's not usual that I have run out of things to write.
